Abonnement
What the Word, section Abonnement.
Supprimer l'app résilie-t-il l'abonnement ? Non.

Support — What the Word
A question, a problem? Write to charbit.apps@gmail.com. We answer within 72 hours.
Subscription
How do I manage or cancel my subscription? Subscriptions go through the App Store: open the App Store, then your account settings, under Subscriptions. You can also get there from What the Word's Settings, Subscription section.
Does deleting the app cancel my subscription? No. Cancel it in the App Store, otherwise it renews.
A refund? Payments are collected by Apple: request it from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com).
Quota
Why does the app say I've hit the limit? A subscription includes up to 150 lookups a day and 600 a month. The daily counter resets at midnight Coordinated Universal Time; the monthly one on the 1st.
Shortcut and selection
How do I look up a word without leaving my text? Select the word or short phrase, then press ⌥⌘T (Option-Command-T): the panel opens with your selection already filled in.
The panel opens empty. Two possible reasons:
- What the Word is not allowed in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility. Without that permission the shortcut opens an empty panel; everything else works.
- The selection is longer than one hundred characters or one line: it is not picked up. Type your lookup in the panel.
Uninstalling
How do I delete the app and its data? Quit What the Word, then drag it from the Applications folder to the Trash. Your history and settings are stored in the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.ricochetapps.whattheword (in the Finder: Go menu › Go to Folder…, then paste this path); delete that folder to erase them.
What about your server? It keeps neither your lookups nor the answers; only a counter with no name attached, erased at the end of the day and month. Details: privacy policy.
